Hello!
It's been a time of trying to finish projects and I can now confirm that the new book, lovingly entitled
A Book of Favourite Swedish Tunes is now out! Nominally I'm going to launch it on Friday 6th March by releasing the audio into BandCamp. But you do get a link to the download of the audio inside the book. It's been a long time coming and I'm happy to have finally finished it! There will be lessons to accompany all the tunes - but I've not finished them all yet!

Since my last update we had the Symmetry Zoom Dance on Sunday 8th February and Tuesday 17th February. These videos are now ready to watch/play-along with.

I added the lessons for:
Maid of Oaks from our Rose Ball album
Bowland Bridge for simple system flute
Maypole Gånglåt for DADA tuned tagelharpa
Troys Wedding by Colin Magee has been added for the Scottish Smallpipes.
The Kindness of Thwaite has had the articulations added to it.
The trios Polska efter Calle-Svankvist and Midsommarn are now added to the site with the video from Halsway last September and the pdf of the music.

I added studio duo videos for The Tightrope Walker, Purshorts and John's Maggot.
Lightening the Load has a new live video.

And on Sunday I went into the filming room fully intent on filming a whole bunch of tunes. I ended up with my February Study Tune Challenge! It's a Study in the key of F major going low and going high - it's also in 7/8. I got it written pretty fast and then filmed me learning it with the metronome. There are a bunch of different bowings too. Check it out! I've been wanting to do more of these - so I hope to do another one next month!

That's all for now as I want to send this out!
More soon I hope!
:))
Vicki
